As both a Realtor® and licensed Professional Civil Engineer, Joel provides unique and invaluable knowledge from his experience in the industry over the past ten years. After graduating from Texas A&M University, he began work designing single-family subdivisions around North Dallas. This opportunity provided him with vast amount of face to face interactions with developers, homebuilders, contractors and City staff.
A native to Keller, Joel transitioned to a position working as an Engineer for the City of Keller earning an Employee of The Year award in Communication. His daily responsibilities included development review, permitting, project management, and meetings with the public. The years working with the City broadened his professional relationships and gave him an incredible depth of understanding of the area and industry.
Desiring to continue growing professionally while allowing him more flexibility to be actively involved in raising his three little boys, Joel left the City and started MILLER Engineering & Consulting and MILLER Rendering & Photography, LLC working from home. Recognizing that his businesses offered services for both the design and marketing of real estate, he quickly realized that his experience, knowledge and talent would also benefit his clients in the purchasing and selling of real estate.
